What Is Base Camp?

This is how Pillar 9 does a 3-day workshop.  It's fast-paced, challenging, and high-energy.  It's a must-give-it-all-you-got and a leave-it-all-on-the-field type of event.  And, it's all about YOU!

Listen, we know that you don't need another hype-up motivational event, over-crowded lecture-style-seminar, or "look at my production and do what I do" conference.  There are plenty of those out there, and they do a very good job with them.

What Base Camp provides is a hybrid in the form of an intensive group workshop.  Through the speakers, action-items, masterminds, social learning, and community you'll be poised for immediate implementation and powered by the tools and resources that you'll have at your disposal.

Base Camp is intently focused on shining a high-powered spotlight on areas (both personal and professional) where you need to pivot and shift you're current habits and disciplines so that you can reach a new level of performance in every area of your life.  

Another way we make this entirely about you...We take a strategic approach to knowing where our participants are in their business and personal life prior to the event.  You'll receive a pre-assessment that will help us paint an extraordinarily clear picture of how we can help.  Our target is to unlock your vision, break free of what's holding your productivity back, and establish personal routines that help you maximize your performance.

And, because of the customization - when you return to Base Camp year over year, you'll gather more tools, tips, tweaks, hacks, and resources so that you can continue on your path to become the best version of yourself.

Base Camp starts in Charlotte, NC on October 17, 2019 and will end on October 20, 2019. Check-in will be between 7am and 9am on Thursday morning (make sure you get there early as there will be a line and we are starting promptly at 9am.  Each day will go from 9am to 5pm.



Make no mistake - we are in a battle, every day, for the control of our thoughts.  Because of that, our focus the first day is to immediately rattle the cages and break free of your norm so that we can rebuild and re-engage a life of purpose and passion.  We break the shackles of perceived limitations (i.e. limiting beliefs or - as we call them - imposed lies), learn how to dominate fear and doubt, and equip you with the blueprint needed to consistently reinforce your undeniable potential.


After day 1, you'll be armed with a limitless construct and belief system that fuels your vision.  In the second day, it only makes sense that we uncover what you must do to achieve that vision faster and more efficiently.  That means day 2 is dedicated to creating and developing the weapons you need to skyrocket your productivity.  We will surgically identify and extract the counter-productive habits you currently have, and forge new "slingshot disciplines" that serve as a catalyst to achievement and peak performance.


The afternoon of day 2 is where your vision starts to become reality and your momentum builds.  Because, at this point, you'll feel an incredible sense of empowerment and utter certainty that your vision is achievable.  We are going to leverage that momentum as we break out into groups and work directly with a mentor to build out your personal systems that drive success.  This is where the magic happens as the groups will be formed based on the information you submit before the event.


Business breakthroughs happen as a result three things: (1) Leadership Capacity Increases, (2) Talent Acquisition, and/or (3) System Development.  While the first two are must-haves, the most significant improvement is almost always found in the creation, design, evolution, and implementation of your business systems.  And, that's exactly what our focus is at the onset of Day 3.  We'll take a deep dive into best practices and various lead generation, client relationship, team building, and accountability systems.


At the end of Base Camp, it's only right to issue a charge...a special type of challenge, if you will.  We will come together as a community to learn about expectations moving forward.  We'll teach you how to reduce negative stress, increase your mental endurance, properly respect the recovery process, and generate undeniable levels of energy.  We'll bring Base Camp to an end and re-launch you into the world poised to reach and sustain a new standard of peak performance.

  • Short answer is Yes.  When you register, you will have the option to upgrade to VIP.  Here's what you can expect with the VIP:
  • Premier VIP Seating in the front of the room.  Provided that the venue allows, we will have our VIP's at crescent-round tables to allow for better note-taking and networking.
  • Early entrance to the training room for each session.
  • VIP gift bag with extra goodies for you to enjoy and celebrate your participation in Base Camp.
  • VIP networking lounge for before and after training sessions.
  • Monthly mastermind call over Zoom following the event to make sure you are continuing your ascension to peak performance.
  • The 3 bonus courses prior to Base Camp.

Leader's Circle is our by-application-only group.  When you register, you'll have the opportunity to level up to VIP.  If there are any Leader's Circle spots left AND you upgrade to VIP, you will receive an email asking if you'd like to apply for the Leader's Circle.

While everything you get in the VIP package is included when you join the Leader's Circle, only individuals in the Leader's Circle will be invited to our Private Q&A session with Andy.  And, you'll also be able to have dinner with Andy on Wednesday evening prior to Base Camp.

We only have 100 VIP tickets available which includes a very limited number of Leader's Circle seats.

We only allow 20 Leader's Circle members.

We encourage you to treat this as a business event and would advise that you dress business casual.  Also, please make sure that you dress warmly as the training room tends to be on the cooler side.

Just bring yourself! We will be asking each individual to turn off their phone and any other digital device for the training sessions.  And, we'll provide a notebook, workbook, pen, and name tag.  You are more than welcome and encouraged to bring business cards to help our community drive deeper relationships.

Food for General Admission and VIP is not provided, however, there are dining options on site or within walking distance. You are also very welcome to pack a lunch and enjoy it on the grounds of the property.

Dinner on Wednesday evening is provided to Leader's Circle members only.

Accommodations are not included with the price of either ticket.

A limited number of discounted hotel rooms for Base Camp are are available at the hotel. Details will be sent to you once we have selected the venue.

Seats are not assigned during the workshop.

For VIP Ticket holders however, there is a reserved section for you in the front of the training room.

No. The content and discussions inside of Base Camp are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.  Any unauthorized recording (via either audio or video) is strictly prohibited. Any materials you are provided at the event are also protected by copyright and other laws, and are for your personal use at and after the event. The content may not be copied, posted online or otherwise distributed.

Once you enroll in Base Camp we guarantee your seat and may have to turn others away.
Therefore, all enrollments are final and there are no refunds.

Yes. In the unfortunate event you are unable to attend, your Base Camp ticket may be transferred to another person. You must email Andy directly at least 30 days prior to the event to transfer enrollment ([email protected]).  A $75 fee will apply to all transfers.  Previously transferred tickets and complimentary tickets are not eligible for transfer.  You are not permitted to transfer your tuition to a future training. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.


All ticket sales are final.  If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may have someone substitute for your participation in the program.  Simply email [email protected] at least 30 days prior to the event to transfer your enrollment.  A $75 fee will apply to all transfers.  Previously transferred tickets and complimentary tickets are not eligible.  Once the event begins, anyone seeking a refund will need to visit our concierge booth during the day 2 afternoon break at the event.  Refunds are authorized at the event only and must be completed by the end of the afternoon meal break of day 2.  At your option, we will apply your tuition to any of Pillar 9's events or courses, or send you a full refund; just turn in your workbook and name badge to the concierge desk.  Complimentary enrollments are not eligible for refund.
